MR. MATTHEW STEVENS
Matthew Stevens qualified as an Osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998. He then went on to complete his Masters degree in Sports Medicine at Nottingham University in 1999.
Since then, Matthew has continued to complete an array of musculoskeletal courses including his specialist area of interest, musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning. Having worked in multiple medical settings from large Hospital settings to smaller out patient clinic settings, Matthew appreciates the need for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care if warranted. By always ensuring an accurate diagnosis he is also keen to teach his patients about their problem and encourage them to take control in the long term if it is required.
Currently Matthew works in Wimpole St, Windsor and Barnes. Matthew has and continues to work with elite athletes from a range of sports, from rugby through to triathlon. His own participation at an elite level of rugby has helped him understand the demands of the modern professional athlete and it is what inspired him into musculoskeletal medicine. He also provides care for a range of events and high profile individuals as well as enjoying lecturing and tutoring to students and postgrads.
